Jerry Kenneth Oord

Jerry Kenneth Oord, 64, of Palm Coast, FL, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2010. Born May12, 1946 in Newark, NJ, he was adopted by parents Clifford and Joan Eckert. Jerry moved to Palm Coast from Wilbraham, MA eight years ago. Serving in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, Jerry was discharged with honors, receiving the National Defense Service Medal and two Bronze Stars. He was Catholic. Jerry will be missed and lovingly remembered by many friends and family including his mother, Joan Eckert; three sisters, Manon McMullin of Florida, Claudette Werner and Joanne Keyler, both of Vermont.
