LouElla Mustonen, 90, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2010. She was born on March 3, 1920 in Black Duck, MN, to parents, Philip and Katherine Jordan. She lived in Florida and the local area for 60 years, moving here from Minnesota. Ms. Mustonen was a retail merchandiser for the Belk Lindsey Wm. Henry Chain, a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Fleming Island and a surgical waiting room coordinator at Orange Park Medical Center. LouElla loved to read, play cards, especially 500 Rummy and enjoyed traveling to Israel and Europe. Ms. Mustonen was a warm and affectionate person who loved and cared for many people. She was a good listener, very involved in the lives of her grandchildren and will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings and is survived by her daughters, Ona Lea Mustonen and Leane Ross; sister, Darlene Watson (Glenn); grandchildren, Blayne K. Ross, Trevor K. Ross and Blair Ross Kernan (Chris); great-granddaughter, Samantha Riley Kernan; dear friends, Ann Marie Barta, Nancy Romero, Marilyn Wojciechowski and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. The Celebration of Life Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Bishop John J. Snyder and Fr. Donal Sullivan as Concelebrants. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to Community Hospice of NE Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32257.
