Norma I. Fernandez

Norma I. Fernandez, 46, of Fleming Island, FL, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2010. She was born on June 7, 1964 in Santa Monica, CA to parents, Arturo and Lydia Sandoval. Mrs. Fernandez was a homemaker and a member of Hibernia Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping, decorating and boating. Mrs. Fernandez dearly loved her grandkids and family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her parents, Arturo and Lydia Sandoval; her loving husband of 21 years, Fred Fernandez; children, Mandy Hamlin (Chad), Chris Fernandez, Marissa Nelson (Jeff) and Savannah Fernandez; siblings, Maria Perez, Lily Sandoval, Johnny Sandoval, Arturo Sandoval, Jr., George Sandoval and Robert Sandoval and grandchildren, Makenzie, Nolan and Berkleigh. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, September 10, 2010 at Hibernia Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Yirka officiating. Interment will follow at 12:30 pm in Jacksonville National Cemetery.
