Dorothy J. McCue

Dorothy J. McCue, 76, of Middleburg, FL, passed away Friday, September 10, 2010. She was born on February 26, 1934 in Dixon, MO to parents, Walter and Leatha McKinnon. Mrs. McCue was a homemaker and a member of Doctor’s Inlet Church of God. She was known as a mother, a friend and a Pastor’s wife and was loyal to all three positions. She was always a caring, loving person who loved church and worshipping God. Mrs. McCue will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her loving husband of 59 years whom she married on March 24, 1951, Bishop William Bush McCue; sons, Mike Edward McCue (Donna) and John William McCue (Connie); daughters, Jeanie Darlene Bell (Wayne) and Susan Aletha Thomas (Stephen); sister, Jeanette Carter (Gene); 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm Friday, September 17, 2010 at Doctor’s Inlet Church of God. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Doctor’s Inlet Church of God with Rev. Chris Oliver, Rev. Eddie Sullivan, Rev. Wendell Pittman and Rev. Larry Powell officiating. Pallbearers will be Stephen Bell, David Bell, Matt Poole, Mike McCue, Jr., David Scott and James Smith. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
