Frank Eisen, 84, passed away October 1, 2010 in Jacksonville. He was a WWII Veteran and received several medals for service including the American Theater Medal, Victory Medal and the Asiatic-Pacific Medal. Mr. Eisen fought on Okinawa, Iwo Jima and several other Pacific Islands. Frank was proud of his service in the New York City Police Dept. from which he retired. He was predeceased by his brothers, Joe Eisenstein and Murray Eisenstein. Survivors include his children, Don (Jeanne) Eisenstein, Tom (Chyrl) Eisenstein, Corinne (Mike) Gaudioso and John (Connie) Eisenstein; sons John (Kim) Eisen, Michael (Chrissy) Eisen; and their mother, Kathryn Eisen; brother, Ike Eisenstein; sisters, Ethel Zipin, Shirley (Sonny) Parnes and Lynn (Vinny) Chiampou; sister-in-law, Vee Eisenstein; six grandchildren and a great-grandson. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at First Baptist Church of The Villages, 16985 S.E. 79 Clearview Ave., The Villages, FL 32162. Pastor Bob Perry will officiate.
