Sarah Ruth Rader

Sarah Ruth Rader, 88, passed away October 25, 2010 at her residence. She had formerly served as Vice President of the Bank of Green Cove Springs and retired from Wachovia. She was a member and past president of the VIA Woman’s Club and a member of the Does, Women of the Elks. Mrs. Rader was predeceased by her husband, John Rader; sister, Marie McLaughlin; brother, Owen Wingate, and the father of her children, E. Wayne Geiger. She is survived by her daughters, Jeanne (R.C.) Jones and Kim (Mike) Clemons; grandchildren, Ron (Leann) Wilkes, Jennifer (Earl) Higginbotham, Melissa, Allison and Matthew Clemons; great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Ryan, Wyatt and Morgan; sister, Selma (Stan) Stansbury; nephews, Don McLaughlin, Chris, Scott and Donnie Wingate; nieces, Ruth McLaughlin and Sandy Newton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2010 in the chapel of Broadus-Raines Funeral Home, 501 Spring St. Green Cove Springs, FL with a visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
