Geraldine Hasty

Geraldine Hasty, 53, was born September 5, 1957 and got the last word, as she always said she would, and went to the “Promise Land” to be with our Lord and her mother on November 11, 2010. Geraldine was always the “life of the party”, making everyone laugh with her jokes and smiles! She was predeceased by her parents, Ray and Mary Coots; siblings, Josephine, Elizabeth, Billy, Janice and Daniel Coots. Survivors include her devoted husband, Timothy W. Hasty; loving children, son, Timothy W. Hasty Jr., daughter, Jennifer (Steven) Loftus; cherished grandchildren, Faladeen Andrews and Timothy W. Hasty III; beloved sisters, Betty (Bob) Chambers and Judy (Gary) Jacobs, all of Shelbyville, TN; beloved brothers, Ray Coots Jr. and Woodrow (Sue) Coots of Markleville, IN; Eugene (Mary) Coots of Hyden, KY; Melvin (Janey) Coots and Dana (Tina) Coots of Shelbyville, TN; Ronnie “J.B.” (Christine) Coots of Germany; several loving nieces and nephews and many close friends. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, November 14, 2010, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 15, 2010 in the funeral home chapel.
