Angela Dawn Townsend

Angela Dawn Townsend, 45, of Orange Park, FL, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2010. She was born on May 28, 1965 in Jacksonville, FL to parents, Stewart and Virginia Townsend. Ms. Townsend was a graduate of UNF with honors and had been a school teacher at Orange Park Junior High School for 10 years and most recently at Middleburg High School. She was a talented artist and loved to write. Ms. Townsend enjoyed music and played classical guitar and clarinet. She loved animals and will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Troy S. Townsend and is survived by her parents, Stewart and Virginia Townsend of Middleburg; brother, Shane C. Townsend of Melrose; niece, Carrie Ann Fithian and many aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Orange Park with Pastor David Tarkington officiating.
