Robert Glen Armstrong

Robert Glen Armstrong, 73, of Jacksonville, FL passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2010. He was born March 3, 1937 in Palatka, FL to parents Lester and Hazel Fowler Armstrong. Mr. Armstrong honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. Robert was a life long resident of Putnam County and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed watching football and NASCAR racing. He leaves behind to cherish his memories many dear relatives and friends. Mr. Armstrong is survived by his sons, Michael, Travis, John and Troy Armstrong; daughter, Wendy Key; brother, Charles Armstrong (Charlotte); sisters, Annette Swearingon (Wayne) and Terri Lynn Armstrong; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Jacksonville National Cemetery. Military honors will be conferred at the cemetery.
