Greg "Coach Greg" Taylor

Greg “Coach Greg” Taylor, 40, of Middleburg, FL, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2010. He was born on October 14, 1970 in St. Augustine, FL. Greg was a lifelong resident of the area and the owner of Taylor Boys Concrete. He had coached Pop Warner football for the past 14 years and the Green Cove Springs Wrestling Club for the past 4 years. He loved fishing, boating, wrestling and mud truck racing. Greg was an excellent businessman who worked hard, played hard and coached hard. He was a wonderful man, a loving father, a loving son and a friend to all. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include his mother, Barbara T. Earls (John); life partner, Cindy Benda; sons, Dylan Taylor, Tyler Strength, Josh Benda and Michael Benda; brother, Brett Altman; sister, Lynn Wolf (Emmett) and grandparents, Clara Rodgers, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Earls and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Altman and niece, Gracie Altman. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Hibernia Baptist Church, 7100 Hwy. 17 S., Fleming Island with Reverend Charlie Hunt officiating.
