Ted "Grundy" Dill

Ted “Grundy” Dill, 60, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2010. He was born on August 24, 1950 in Jackson, TN to parents, Winfred and Betty Dill. Mr. Dill was a retired Commander in the United States Navy and was a Vietnam War and Gulf War Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post #250 in Middleburg and was of the Methodist faith. Mr. Dill enjoyed golf and was a volunteer for 11 years at the TPC tournament. He was also known as an awesome artist and will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Winfred Dill and is survived by his mother, Betty Dill; wife, Chris Dill; children, Carey Atkins, Caleb Dill and Joseph Dill; sister, Nancy Agner (Mike) and grandchildren, Wendy, Nicole, Cody, Christian, Julie and Olivia. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 21, 2010 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Rev. Don Corbit officiating. Military honors will be given at the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his memory may be made to PGA Tour Charities, Inc., 100 PGA Tour Blvd., Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082.
