Avain “Coot” Elizabeth Smith, 63, passed away December 14, 2006 in Green Cove Springs, FL. Coot was born to George and Geraldine Clafflin on November 20, 1943 in Starke, FL. She was a lifelong resident of Starke, FL, a retired nurse and a member of the Church of God faith. She is survived by her two sons, William (Lori) Smith and David Smith all of Starke, FL, one sister, three brothers and two grandchildren, Garret and Jared Smith. A memorial service will by held at Sampson City Church of God in Starke, FL on January 4, 2007 at 11:00 am with Rev. Gene Bass officiating.
