Maria Joyce Pushee

Maria Joyce Pushee, 64, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2007 in Jacksonville, FL. Born on June 10, 1942 to parents James and Leona Teeter in Providence, RI, she had been a resident of the Green Cove Springs community for 20 years, coming from North Carolina. Of the Catholic faith, Maria had always been “daddy’s girl.” She was also a stylish lady and always loved wearing her hats. When her children were young, she would sing the Everly Brothers song, “Dream” to them. Whenever her family misses her and wants to see her again, all they have to do is dream. Maria went to join her daddy and her son, Larry James Teeter whom preceded her in death. She is survived by her son Robert Teeter (Kristy) of Middleburg, FL; her daughter, Barbara Teeter-Peterson (Brian) of Green Cove Springs, FL; and four grandchildren, Tazzmen, Jerry, Taylor, and “Little” Bobby.
