Paul Lewis Bauer

Paul Lewis Bauer, 80, passed away at his Green Cove Springs residence surrounded by his beloved family on Thursday, February 1, 2007. Born on October 5, 1926 to parents Earl and Corla Bauer in Chelsea, MI, he had been a resident of the Green Cove Springs area for 25 years. Of the Catholic faith, he served his country in The United States Army. He was awarded the Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon, Victory Medal, and Good Conduct Medal for his honorable service. Following his military service, he worked as a farmer and also as a truck driver. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Esta F. Bauer; three daughters, Pat Pirillo of Green Cove Springs, Paula Doyle of Gulfport, MS, and Lisa Helms, and her husband Tom, of Green Cove Springs; and four grandchildren, Frank and Farrah Lewicki, and Nathan and Cody Helms. Funeral services will be held graveside at Volusia Memorial Park, Ormond Beach, FL on Monday, February 5, 2007 at 12:00 pm. Please sign the family’s online guest registry at www.broadusraines.com.
