Sarah Arlene Dixon

Sarah Arlene Dixon, 71, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2007. She was born September 17, 1935 in Haysi, VA to parents John and Mary Deel. Mrs. Dixon was a homemaker and a member of Little Ruth Old Regular Baptist Church in Green Cove Springs. She enjoyed sewing and quilting and will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. Mrs. Dixon was preceded in death by her husband, Allen H. Dixon and is survived by her three children, Terry A. Dixon (Anna), Gary L. Dixon (Teresa) and Johnny E. Dixon; brothers, Garland Henry Deel (Edna) and Willie Kermit Deel; sisters, Bessie Caroline Prior, Martha Imogene Deel and Flornie Rosealene Deel; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Friday, February 16, 2007 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, February 19, 2007 at Little Ruth Old Regular Baptist Church with Elders Doug McCarty, Albert Hamilton, Terry Fuller and Teddy O’Quinn officiating.
