Fay Gainey Preacher

Fay Gainey Preacher, 66, of Cocoa, FL, passed away Friday, February 16, 2007 in Green Cove Springs. She was born July 6, 1940 in Daytona, FL to Albert and Elizabeth Gainey. Ms. Preacher worked as an Auditor for Sears for 23 years. She graduated Cum Laude from Mainland High School in Daytona where she was a member of the National Honors Society. She moved to Cocoa from Daytona in 1960. Ms. Preacher was a loving mother and a homemaker and will be remembered as a wonderful cook. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Ms. Preacher is survived by her son, Jerald Lee Preacher of Cocoa, and a brother, Donald Gainey (Patricia) of Palatka, FL. Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
