John M. Wealer

John M. Wealer, 79, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Friday, February 16, 2007. Born on April 24, 1927 in Chicago, IL, he had been a resident of the Clay County area since late 2000, coming from Beverly Hills, FL. Following honorable service to his country in The United States Navy, John began his career with the Chicago Transit Authority as a driver in 1954 and retired after 30 years of service in 1984 as a supervisor. He was also a past president of The Lions Club in Sebring, FL. He was a loving father and family man that will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. John was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 50 years, Dorothy Wealer. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Nancy Reigart (William) of Green Cove Springs; one brother, Ed Wealer of CA; one sister, Marge Johnson of Chicago, IL; one grandson, Jacob Reigart of Green Cove Springs; and numerous nieces and nephews.
