Linda "Meme" Geoghagan

Linda “Meme” Geoghagan, 72, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Friday, March 9, 2007. She was born August 22, 1934 in Transylvania County, NC to parents Troy and Telma Owen. Mrs. Geoghagan was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and loved to draw and paint. She will be missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Floyd Geoghagan; children, Sharon Potter of Green Cove Springs, FL, Shelia Barrier (John) of Jacksonville, FL, Johnny Geoghagan of Green Cove Springs, FL and Tim Geoghagan (Stephanie) of Orange Park, FL; brothers, Aaron Owen (Mary), Arlen Owen (Ann) and Franklin D. Owen (Mary), all of Pickens, SC; sisters, Fran Fricks (Charles) of Easley, SC and Wanda Evatt (Dean) of Pickens, SC; grandchildren, Ian Barrier, Eric Barrier, Tyler Booker, Christopher Booker, Emily Shannon, Andrew Geoghagan, Adam Geoghagan and Aaron Geoghagan; and great-grandchild, Brandon Barrier. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, March 12, 2007 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 13, 2007 in the Chapel of Broadus-Raines Funeral Home with Reverend Sam Castano officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.
