Alfred Dickerson

Alfred Dickerson, age 64, of Green Cove Springs, was called home on May 7, 2020. He was born March 21, 1956 in Jacksonville, Florida to James Daniel Dickerson and Gladys Dickerson Thomas.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 44 years, Elizabeth "Liz" Dickerson; Three children, Christopher (Lisa) King of Jacksonville, Kimberly (Dallas) Fitzgerald of Saint Augustine, and Daniel (Erin) Dickerson of Orange Park; Six grandchildren, Tiffany, Austin (Michaela), Chloe, Makayla, Caris, and Callum; Two great-grandchildren, Miley and Emily. One sister, Janice (Jim) Scites, Brothers, Buddy Dickerson, and Bill (Nancy) Dickerson; Sister-in-Law Janet (Ray) Mouzon; Mother-In-Law Louise; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Step-Brother, John (Dianna) Thomas; and Step-Sisters Karen (Frank) Blackburn and Betty Watson.

He has gone on to meet his parents and many loved ones waiting for him in Heaven.

Alfred was an avid fisherman and golfer. He and Liz could often be found in Trout Creek catching bream, crappie, and whatever else was on the line. He could also be found on the golf course at Cecil Field any given Tuesday playing golf with his brothers.
