Amanda G. Jimmison Whittington

July 21, 1982 — October 17, 2021

Amanda was born July 21, 1983 and crossed over to Heaven October 17, 2021.

Amanda is preceded in death by her sister, Denise Jimmison; grandparents, Frank and Alice Jimmison, Henry and Grace Wilburn and Nana Nova Cason.

She is survived by her husband, Rodger Newman Whittington of seven years; son, Alex Crump; parents, Levy Jimmison and Rebecca Green; sister, Darlene Hughs; nephews, Aidan and Ethan Hughs; grandparents, Arnold and Sally Doyle; her furbabies, Heidi, Pebbles, Brownie and several cats; as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins, and many other extended family.

Amanda had a hand in bringing up all her friend’s children; she called them all her babies. Mackenzie had a very special place in Amanda’s heart. Amanda loved music, and she adored animals and had a passion for them.

Amanda was by the side of her family members as they crossed over to be with God but the loss of her sister, Denise, three years ago was a loss she never fully accepted, she was deeply wounded, heart and soul, now they are walking hand in hand together again.
