Americo "Rico" Masi, Jr.

Americo “Rico” Masi, Jr., 86, of Green Cove Springs, FL and formerly of Lindenhurst, Long Island, NY, passed away August 22, 2023.  He was born on January 21, 1937 in Queens, NY to parents Antionette and Americo Masi, Sr.  He graduated from Oswego State University and served in the Army National Guard. Rico worked in the North Babylon school district for 33 years.  He had a passion for cooking from the World Golf Village to the Elks Lodge.  He was an avid golfer and a member of the Hole in One Club.

Rico was predeceased by his brothers, Leonard and Nicholas Masi and is survived by his wife Merry of 45 years; 4 children, 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

He is missed and loved by many.  May he rest in peace.
