Amy Jean O'Neill

Amy Jean O’Neill, 49 after a long-fought battle with cancer passed peacefully September 6, 2021 at Community Hospice in Jacksonville, FL. Amy was born in Elkhart, IN. on December 21, 1971.

She graduated from Orange Park High School class of 1989, an avid swimmer with the OPHS swim team and enjoyed participation as a Miss OPHS Contestant

in her junior year. One of Amy’s favorite trips was participating in a missionary project in Haiti where she developed a special fondness for their people.

Amy was self-employed as a professional barber for over 25 years and owned Amy’s Family Cuts and More in Middleburg, FL.

Her passions included gardening, cooking and crafts of all types. Loved butterflies, hummingbirds, sharks teeth hunting and her 2 chihuahua’s

Amy is survived by her husband, Keith O’Neill, her blended children; Amber and Cameron Frydrych, Nikki Trembath (Travis), Sydney Jackson (Aundrey) and Kegan O’Neill, grandchildren; Georgia, Oliver, Annora, Saige and Sloan, a brother; William Geiger, parents Timm and Andrea Geiger and mother-in-law Kay O’Neill and many well-loved family and friends.

Due to covid restrictions, A private family service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Amy’s honor may be made to St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, Green Cove Springs; Community Hospice, Jacksonville FL; Food Pantry of Green Cove Springs or Haiti relief.
