Anna went to be with our Lord, Saturday, August 18, 2018 in the Moosehaven Health Care Center at the age of 91.

 

She was born to Wilbur and Greta (Aldridge) Beeks on December 6, 1926 in Huntington County, IN. Anna grew up with four sisters and three brothers in Indiana. She graduated from Andrews High School.

 

Anna married her husband Clyde Osborn, the love of her life on July 28, 1946 they had 9 children, 5 girls and 4 boys.  

 

She was a member of High Street Methodist Church.   Anna worked for J.C. Penney’s as a credit manager and retired after 40 years of service. She cherished her role as a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and kept in contact with everyone on Facebook until her last days.

 

Anna became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on May 4, 1987 when she joined Muncie, Indiana Chapter #712.  She received her Academy of Friendship on May 6, 1990 and her College of Regent Degree on September 22, 2013.

 

She came to Moosehaven on April 19, 2011 where she has resided for 7 years. 

 

She was preceded in death by husband Clyde on December 25, 1990, son Ronald Osborn in 2008, a great grandson and great-great grandson.  Also she is preceded by her parents, a sister, Mary Margaret (Beeks) Harshbarger and brothers; James Beeks, Norm Beeks and Donald Beeks.

 

Anna is survived by 3 sons, David (Brenda) Osborn of Muncie, IN, Gary (Heather) Osborn of Sanger, TX, Frederick Osborn of Dallas, TX and 5 daughters Diana (Jim) Walker of Lady Lakes, FL, Cheri (Steve) Sulkey of Warsaw, IN, Rebecca (Terry) Powers, Muncie, IN, Deborah (Paul) McCalf of Fortville, IN, Tonya Foster of LaPorte, IN. Along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is survived by 3 sisters, Norma Jean Bair, Bonnie Lou (Curley) Seibold and Barbara Rose (Darrall) Collins.

 

Funeral Services held on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 10:30am in the Moosehaven Chapel. Services conducted by Rev. Helen Taylor and Opportunity Chapter.

 

A family service will be held at Garden View Funeral Home in Muncie, IN on Saturday, August 25th at 2:00p.m. Visitation will be prior to the service from

12:00 – 2:00p.m.

 

In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated to Moosehaven, Mooseheart or your favorite charity.
