Staff Sergeant Anthony Musico, USA, Ret., 82, of Fleming Island, FL, passed away June 9, 2018. He was born on June 21, 1935 in Detroit, MI to parents Carlo and Victoria (Joseph) Musico. Mr. Musico was retired from the United States Army and was a Korean and Vietnam War Veteran who was the recipient of two Purple Hearts. Following his military service he worked for and retired from TTX Railroad. He was a member of Hope For Life Baptist Church in Jacksonville and Faith Baptist Church in Green Cove Springs. He served as a Deacon in the churches and was known for crocheting crosses and giving them to all that he met. He loved to fish and was a Georgia Bulldog fan.
Survivors include his wife, June Musico; sons, Dale A. Musico (Angela) of Middleburg, FL and Carlo Musico of Green Cove Springs, FL; daughters, Paula M. Scales (Jim) of Blackshear, GA, Tina A. Musico of Middleburg, FL and Vickie Prevatt (Stephen) of Green Cove Springs, FL; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 25, 2018 at Hope For Life Baptist Church with Pastor Billy Bray and Pastor Louis Doan officiating. Inurnment will follow at 2:30 pm at Jacksonville National Cemetery with full military honors.
