Anwara S. Lindmark, 85, of Orange Park, Florida, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021. She was born to Moyna and Sheila Furkun-Ulla on July 19, 1936, in London, England.
Mrs. Ana, as she was known here, worked as a proficient secretary in several countries, including England and Saudi Arabia, before moving to the United States and becoming a citizen. She then worked about 16 years at St. Vincent's Medical Center before retiring.
Ana was an active member of Pinewood Presbyterian Church for many years. She loved gardening, oil painting, knitting, and crocheting. She will be remembered as a prolific communicator both verbally and in writing, and very creative with her beautifully handcrafted floral cards she gave to many of us.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Allen Lindmark, and is survived by her three children, Andrew, Fiona and Nikki, who reside in England.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel at Pinewood Presbyterian Church, 198 Knight Boxx Rd, Middleburg, FL, 32068, on Wednesday, October 27 at 10 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pinewood Church or to Community Hospice of Clay County.
