Barbara Ann Gruden

Barbara, Grandma Gruden to many, previously residing in Fleming Island, FL has passed as of January 29, 2021 at the age 73. She was born April 3, 1947 in Saint Cloud, MN to parents Florence and Daniel Viehauser. She was preceded in death by her mother Florence Viehauser and father Daniel Viehauser, along with her 2 brothers Danny Viehauser and Tommy Viehauser. She was a loving mother of 5 children: Amy (Jonathon) Mohler, John (Polly) Gruden, Nick (Kari) Gruden, Luke (Lynzie)Gruden, Emily (Stuart) Mowery; and 14 grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Joan Black.

She was born and grew up in Saint Cloud, MN and loved to travel and live in many different places around the United States. She attended Cathedral High School and studied at Dakota County Technical. Later in her life, she moved to Fleming Island, Florida and resided there for her remaining years.

To all who had the blessing to meet her beautiful soul, they knew of the generosity and love within her heart. Grandma Barb was a one-of-a-kind soul who only knew how to love; especially for her family which she held greatest in her heart. She had the brightest smile and light that had spread to all who have met her.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 6, 2021 from 2:00-3:00pm in the Broadus-Raines Chapel.  Funeral services will start at 3:00pm with Dr. Tim McDaniel officiating.
