Barbara Faye Wallace

Barbara Faye Wallace, age 86, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, April 16th, 2024. She was born on November 4th, 1937 in Hartford, Alabama. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents Roy Fletcher Sammons and Mary Alice Sammons, her husband of 54 years William B. Wallace Jr, and dear sister and best friend Betty J. Jacob. She is survived by her two children Ronald Wallace and Jacquelyn Thomas (Raymond), five grandchildren Nicole Wallace (David), Lindsey Thomas (Brian), Shawn Thomas (Rachele), Lauren Thomas (David) and Emily Wallace. Four great grandchildren Rayna Draggoo, Tristan Draggoo, Mason Thomas and Bryson Thomas. Two nieces Linda Cone (John) and Alice Adams (Donnie). Barbara truly lived life to the fullest and was very loved by all who knew her.  She was the matriarch of our family and will be deeply missed. Funeral Services will be held Friday April 26th at 10:30 am at Jacksonville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Alzheimer’s Association 14010 Roosevelt Blvd Clearwater, Florida 33755.
