“Is Time To Go”

My Mothers Gone To Heaven;
I knew She Final Would –
She Gave Us Time To Love Her –
She Gave Us All She Could.
God Looked Down From Heaven;
And Said Its Time To Go –
You Raised All Your Children;
The Best That You Know.
You Took Care Of Your Daddy
Farm Land And Home,
Now I’ll Walk The Path With You
You Know You Not Alone.
You Talked Of Your Childhood;
Oh! How You Held On Tight –
While All You Children –
Stood By You Day And Night.
You Need Your Rest Now –
So Turn Loose And Lee Go –
To My Heavenly Father
Whom You Knew Long Ago.
The Everlasting Light
Those we love must someday pass
beyond our present sight…
must leave us and the world we know
without their radiant light.
But we know that like a candle
their lovely light will shine
to brighten up another place
more perfect… more divine.
And in the realm of Heaven
where they shine so warm and bright,
our loved ones live forevermore
In God’s eternal light.
