Bill Rollo

William (Bill) Joseph Rollo, Jr of Fleming Island, Florida passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the age of 73. He was born on April 6, 1951 in Lowell, Massachusetts to William and Phyllis (Riley) Rollo. 

He enjoyed going fishing and working in his gardens. He was a sports fan and an avid walker who also enjoyed visiting Disney. He also enjoyed grilling and hosting bbqs. Every year he spent many happy hours setting up his Christmas village for all to enjoy. 

He will be remembered for all of his outdoor activities like gardening, fishing and walking, along with his love of a good steak with some delicious carrot cake for dessert. However, he will most be remembered for his love of his family and spending time with all those he cared about, including being the coach of his sons’ Little League teams.

Bill was preceded in death by his first wife, Elaine (Robillard) Rollo, father William Rollo, his sister-in-law Cheryl (Lloyd) Rollo, Jeanne and Jean Couillard.

Bill is survived by his mother Phyllis of Lowell, Massachusetts, loving wife of 46 years Michelle (Brault) Rollo, his 4 sons, Bill, his wife Dorothy, Dave, his wife Jenn, Mike, his wife April, and Chris. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren, Grace, Robyn, Amanda, Thomas Baker, Abby, Autumn and 1 great-grandchild, Mateo Baker. He is also survived by his brother Steve of Dracut, Massachusetts, sister Gerry and husband Arthur Beaudry of Somersworth, NH along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The services for Bill will be held on Saturday, September 28th at 1pm at Broadus Raines funeral home in Green Cove Springs Florida.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to Haven Hospice, located in Orange Park, Florida or a cancer treatment/research organization of your choice.
