Bonita J. Arnold, 94, of Orange Park, Florida passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021. She was born in Dayton, Ohio July 21, 1927 to the late Andrew and Margaret (Willis) Solomon.
Bonita (Bonnie) was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Marvin H. Arnold, Jr., and daughter Pamela J. Raywood. Her brothers and sisters, Catherine, Dwayne, Marvin, George Sullivan, Carolyn Ellis, and twins Adeleen Hanshew and Eileen Giallombardo also preceded her in death.
Bonnie was a faithful wife, mother and homemaker serving alongside Marvin in the U. S. Air Force for over 30 years, including three years in Okinawa. She worked outside the home in retail at many of their duty stations. She enjoyed sewing and needlework and will be remembered for the countless hours she spent at her sewing machine creating the wardrobes of her three daughters and their various dolls. She also enjoyed travel and was an avid reader.
Bonnie is survived by daughters Deborah Martin (Dan) and Bridget Price (Stanley) and son-in-law George Raywood, grandchildren Bill Galloway (Diane), John Martin (Jeff), Arnold Martin (Crystle), Kerry Price (Gloria), Darren Price, Misa Rainbolt (Greg) and Stanley A. Price. She is also survived by numerous great and great-great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Jacksonville National Cemetery with Dr. Tim McDaniel officiating.
