Brenda S. Sutherland

Brenda S. Sutherland, 65, of Green Cove Springs, FL, went to be with the Lord on November 24, 2020. She was born on February 18, 1955, in Atlanta, GA, to William and Joann (Greer) Maxwell. Brenda was a resident of Clay County for more than 50 years where she worked for Walmart. Brenda was of the Pentecostal faith. She liked to bowl, take trips to the mountains, go to church, and most of all she loved spending time with her family. Brenda will be remembered for her compassion, generosity, and caring for others.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Jerry and David. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Frankie Sutherland, Sr; two sons, Frankie Sutherland Jr. and Brian Sutherland (Andrea); two daughters, Joanna Long (Jay) and Christina Dunlap (Matt); ten grandchildren; one great grandson; two brothers; and four sisters.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am until 11:00am on Monday, December 7th, 2020, in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Pastor Larry Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Penney Farms Cemetery.
