Brooke Nicole Pawloski, 29, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Baptist Clay Hospital in Fleming Island, Florida. Brooke was born to John and Kathleen (Silcox) Pawloski on April 20th, 1995 in St Mary’s Georgia. She was a 2013 graduate of Fleming Island High School where she was a member of the drama club and the fellowship of Christian athletes. She was a member of the Eagle Harbor swim team and the Flying Eagles dance team. After graduating from Fleming Island High School, Brooke attended the American Center for Cosmetology in Orange Park Florida. As a licensed Aesthetician Brooke was able to fulfill her lifelong dream of opening her own spa where she honed her passion for making others feel beautiful in their own skin. Brooke had an amazing sense of humor and her laugh was absolutely contagious. She loved to laugh and make others laugh with her comedic genius and quick wit. She was able to effortlessly create complex characters on the spot with their own personalities, individual voices and accents. She cherished her close relationship with her siblings, family and best friends. She was always early for everything giving herself time in her car to do her favorite things listening to music and meditating. She doted on her cat, Harley and her hedgehog, Gunnar. As a little girl, she loved being outside with her siblings and friends and that never changed. Even though she was known for her glamour and love of getting all dolled up, she also loved being out in nature, fishing and playing the mud. All summer you could find her at the beach, her special place. She loved music, going to concerts, fashion, and the art of make-up. Brooke was a Christian who carried her sense of humor, God and her Bible with her wherever she went. She was preceded in death by her parents, and survived by her siblings Brandon Mata (Diandra), Lauren Mata, and Alexis Pawloski as well as her adoptive parents Jody & Stephen Nickless. She had a deep connection and special relationship with her cousins, nieces and nephews. She had a large extended family who were also very important throughout her life, and she will be missed dearly by all.
The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 10:30am on Saturday, June 8th, 2024 at Crossroad Lutheran Church. Funeral services will begin at 10:30am with Pastor Janet Riley officiating and a luncheon will follow.
