Bruce Craig Hendricks

Bruce Craig Hendricks, age 56, of Palatka, FL, formally of Green Cove Springs, was called home to be with his Lord and savior on Friday, February 10^th, 2023.

Bruce enjoyed life. He put his friends and family first. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, whether it be a trip to the beach, fishing, mudding, camping or just standing around the burn pit with everyone. He had a large close-knit family and friend.

He was a volunteer fireman with his brother, Mark, at a young age. He has held several jobs through out the years. He worked for Moosehaven, Kustom Karr, John Mansville and Clay County Garage, to name a few. Most of all, he loved driving Semi Trucks for Modlin Trucking.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Frank Hendricks.

He will be terribly missed by his mother, Barbara Hendricks. He leaves behind his loving wife of 27 years, Shirley Fay Hendricks, and son Joshua Hendricks, that is dearly loved to carry his love and memories and make many more. He leaves behind, sister, Linda Tucker (Terry), brother, Mark Hendricks (Tammy), brothers-in-law Danny Bryant (Sharon), Gary Bryant, Roger Bryant and David Deen (Cindy) and sister-in-law, Wanda Krail (Rodney). Numerous nieces and nephews are left behind with good memories of Bruce. Honorary brothers: Bill Cook (Tina), Danny McGuirt (Wendy), Louie Larue (Beth), Teddy Modlin (Lynn) and his Modlin family.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 18, 2023, in the Broadus-Raines Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until service time in the chapel. Interment will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
