Buddy Dunkle

Buddy passed away September 17, 2021 in the Orange Park Medical Center at the age of 79.

He was born to Eugene and Valaria Dunkle on August 9, 1942 in St. Louis, MO. Eugene and Valarie came to Moosehaven on March 2, 1999. Valaria preceded him in death on June 4, 2002 and Eugene preceded him in death on June 21, 2011.

Buddy worked as a Prep cook for Stars Rec Center retiring in 2009.

He became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on October 19, 1977 when he joined Vacaville, California Lodge #1967.

Buddy came to Moosehaven on July 20, 2009 where he has resided for 12 years. 

He was an active member in Opportunity Lodge and served as Sergeant of Arms for many years. Buddy was a dedicated shuttle driver for 9 years and took pride in helping his fellow residents.  Buddy enjoyed bingo, darts, bowling, ceramics, fishing and was in charge of Bunko group.

He will be laid to rest in the Moosehaven Mausoleum, Orange Park, Florida.

He is survived by brothers James (Cheryl) Dunkle of Florida and Tom Dunkle of Arizona.
