Carlos Austin Jeffers

Carlos Austin Jeffers (Sonny) ,81 yrs. old, of Orange Park, Florida passed away August 29,2022.

Born to John C. and RoseLee Jeffers on July 28,1941 in Drs. Inlet, Florida.

He served in the US Army for a short period of time and worked in Land Clearing, Logging and Truck driving most of his life.

He loved to work, spend time with his family most and liked fishing also.

He will be remembered for his big heart and smile.

He is preceded in death by his Parents John C. and RoseLee Jeffers, wife Mary (Anne) Jeffers, 6 Brothers: Bill, Hollis, Harry, Lawerence, JD, JR, Jeffers, 2 Sisters: Iona Burroughs and Iris Ford)

Survived by 1 Son: Tony Jeffers (Lanette Jeffers), 1 Daughter: Terri Dixon (Keith Dixon), 3 Grandchildren: Amy Henry, Keith Dixon and Lexi Fraley, 1 Great granddaughter: Ava Dixon, 1 Sister: Linda Crumpler, and lots of nieces and nephews

Visitation for Family and friends will be Friday September 2, 2022, at 9:00Am - 10-00Am and Funeral service at 10:00Am at Broadus Raines Funeral Home located at 501 Spring St. Green Cove Springs, FL 32043 with Brother Jeff Crawley officiating.
