Carol Diane Pierce

Our beloved Carol Diane Pierce, age 66 sadly passed away peacefully at home in Middleburg, FL at 6:44PM on January 1, 2023. She was born on June 14, 1956 in Atlanta, Georgia and was a retired restaurant manager. No matter what she was doing in life, she worked hard and did it well. She had a passion for gardening, especially the flowers throughout her yard! She was kind, nurturing and had the biggest heart of all. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was always there when we needed her. Preceded in death by her beloved husband John Pierce and parents Catherine Hill and Jack Gude and brother Steven Gude. She is survived by her sister Elizabeth Langston daughters Sharon Adams, Lisa Bennett, Diane Curry, Catherine Stratton and her grandchildren Brittany, Cayla, Christina, Breanna, Courtney, Sara, Kyle and her great grandkids Kylin, Maverick, Adaline. She will always be loved and missed. 

An Angel lived among us, 

A gift from God above. 

She showered us with kindness,

And shared with us her love. 

She cherished every moment 

With the man who was her life;

Walking hand and hand together,

Facing life with all of its strife. 

She loved her children dearly,

Each one a different way,

Nestled closed within her heart. 

Though, now, she is far away.

She’s gone to live with Jesus. 

But, she’s here with us, today,

Smiling down on every one of us, 

And telling us she’s ok.
