Carrol Keith Hall, Sr., long-time resident of Clay County, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 8:55 PM.
Carrol lived a long and happy life. He was the last living child of Virgil and Ella Lee Hall.
He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Hall; son Carrol Keith Hall, Jr.; granddaughter Stephanie Callahan; and many brothers and sisters.
Carrol was a loving husband and father and he is survived by daughters Lee Cliver and her husband Rusty, and Ann Rodgers and her husband Don; grandchildren Carrianne Hogan, Donovan Russell, and Theresa Lovicz; many great-grandchildren; nieces Shirley Hog and Anne Sharp; and many other nieces and nephews.
Carrol was a long-time member of Shiloh Baptist Church. He loved the church and all of its members. He was very close to his Deacon and long-time friend Roger Waddell and also Pastor Marc Swarthout.
Carrol served in the Navy for 21 years as a Chief Petty Officer and he was stationed in many places while he was in the Navy. He always said he would not take a million dollars for his experience but would not give a plug nickel to do it again he had a good sense of humor.
Carrol Loved The Lord and brought many people to Christ in his life time. He did not meet a stranger, he loved people and talking with them. He will be truly missed in so many ways.
The family will receive friends from 10:00am-11:00am on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Shiloh Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow with Reverend Marc Swarthout officiating. Interment will take place after the funeral service at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
