Charlcie Lucille Perkins went home to be with her precious Savior Jesus on Saturday May 28, 2022 at 10:17 a.m. after a lengthy illness. She was born to Charles and Lucille Gaston on July 31, 1954 in Lenoir City, Tennessee. She worked hard for the majority of her life, always putting others’ happiness before her own. She was a long-time member of First United Pentecostal church where she was baptized and received the Holy Ghost and her son Chad serves as assistant Pastor. She loved to sing old southern gospel hymns, and many requested her to sing during church services.

She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, wife, and friend to many. She will be remembered for her limitless humble generosity and thoughtfulness. She was a very talented modest lady who you never seen in a pair of pants, only skirts. She could give you a great haircut and she could cook up some amazing biscuits and sausage gravy. With an eye for detail, she loved and collected owl figurines. She loved being treated to shopping and dining outings and would spare no expense when it was her turn to treat.

Charlcie was preceded in death by her husband, Dennie Perkins; her parents, Charles (Charlie Clyde) & Lucille (Lucy) Gaston; and her grandson, Chaz Lamar Franklin. She is survived by her 3 children, Chelsea Randle (Buddy), Chad Rice (Evelyn) and Chase Perkins (Nikki). She is also survived by her 2 sisters, Nora/Bunny Gaston (Delbert) and Linda Billings (David); her brother, Eddie Gaston (Pat); her grandchildren, Stewart Franklin Jr. (Carrissa); Cameron, Bryant, Mia, Mason, Mira and Max and her great grandson, Julius Franklin and niece and nephews Michael, Jason, Lorinda, Joey, and Josh.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday June 4, 2022 at Hickory Grove Cemetery with Pastor Lloyd Dean officiating.
