Chuck passed away July 17, 2018, in the Moosehaven Health Care Center in Orange Park, Florida, at the age of 76.
He was born to Woodrow and Genevieve (Baker) Huston on April 1, 1942, in Mansfield, Ohio, but spent his entire life in the Shiloh area until his retirement in 2006. Chuck owned and operated Huston’s Carry Out in Shiloh for many years.
Chuck was very passionate about three volunteer activities: The Shelby Moose, Shiloh Fire Dept. (CB&S) and the Richland County Senior Fair Board.
Chuck was very active in the C B & S Fire Dept. (Shiloh) for over 40 years. He was a Richland County Senior Fair Board member for 15 years, and active in the Moose Lodge in Shelby, Ohio and East Mesa Arizona, since 1989. He was a past Governor on May 01, 2003, and received his Fellowship Degree on July 05, 2010, from the Fraternal Order of Moose. Chuck also enjoyed his bowling leagues and camping groups.
After spending several years in Apache Junction, AZ, to be close to family, Chuck enjoyed his most recent years in community with fellow Moose members at Moosehaven in Florida.
Chuck is survived and was loved by a nephew, Todd (Kellie) Huston of Phoenix, AZ, Niece Cheri (Kevin) Nason of Chandler, AZ, Great nieces & nephew’s Cory, Taryn, Connor and Allie. He is also survived by a sister in law, Barbara Huston of Mansfield.
Chuck is preceded in death by his mother, father, and brother David.
Memorial Service will be held on July 26, 2018 at 10:30 AM in his hometown of Shiloh, Ohio. He will be laid to rest beside his parents and brother in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
