Charles Edward Petty

Charles Edward Petty, 67 years old of Jacksonville, FL succumbed to a long illness to go be with the Lord on December 14, 2020. He was born in Jacksonville and remained a lifelong resident.  He was the son of the late Charles G. Petty and stepson of the late Calvin Silcox. 

He is survived by his loving mother, Jewell Silcox; son, Jamie Petty (wife, Kim); daughter, Katlyn Fairchild; grandsons, Ty and Branndon Petty; two brothers, George R Petty (wife, Theresa) and Tim Petty (wife, Susan) and sister, Judy O’Connor.

Charles worked as a truck driver for most of his life and recently for Fresenius Medical Care North America before retiring.

Charles “Eddie” will remain in the hearts of all the family and friends he blessed with his presence.
