Cindy Darlene Lee

 Cindy Darlene Lee, 62, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on December 12, 2024. Born on December 27, 1961, in Jacksonville, Florida, Cindy was the daughter of Jack and Erma Nell Coleman. She attended Orange Park High School and pursued a career in the auto glass industry.

On October 13, 1984, Cindy married the love of her life, Albert Thomas Lee Jr., from Middleburg, Florida. Their marriage spanned an extraordinary 40 years. Together, they raised six children: Annette Kanable, Scott Lee, Jessica Lee, Brianna Lee, Jonathan Lee, and Summer Lee. Cindy was also a loving second mother to Albert’s eldest daughter, Erica (Mark) Smith.

A member of Long Branch Baptist Church, Cindy found joy in nurturing flowers and watching plants thrive. She will be forever remembered for her kind spirit, unwavering love for her family, and her remarkable role as a wife, mother, and granny.

Cindy was preceded in death by her son, Scott Lee (September 18, 2015); her granddaughter, Bonnee Lee; and her parents, Jack Coleman (2006) and Erma Nell Coleman (2017).

She leaves behind her beloved husband, Albert Lee; her children Annette (Jason) Kanable, Jessica Lee, Jonathan Lee, Brianna Lee, and Summer Lee; her grandchildren Jaylen, Makhia, Anthony, Jack, and Kurtis; and her siblings, Judy Griffin and Lamar Coleman of Pineview, Georgia.

A memorial service honoring Cindy’s life will take place on January 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Long Branch Baptist Church, located at 5500 Long Branch Cemetery Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32234. The service will be officiated by Pastor Harry Conaway. Following the service, refreshments will be served in the church’s fellowship hall.

Cindy’s legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
