Clarence “Cap” PrimeauOctober 7, 1936 – September 17, 2017Cap passed away on September 17, 2017 in the Orange Park Medical Center at the age of 80.He was born to Alexander and Elizabeth Primeau on October 7, 1936 in Beaver Township, Michigan. Cap married Shirley Savage on November 23, 1957. He then married Juanita Pierce on December 4, 1976. He had three sons, Mark, Gregory and David. His son, Arthur, preceded him in death in 2015.He worked as a retail clerk at Home Depot retiring in 1995. Cap served his country honorably in the United States Army as a Switchboard operator from September 14, 1956 to September 13, 1958. He then completed his service in the Army Reserve until September 13, 1962.Cap became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on January 15, 1989 when he joined the West Nashville, TN Lodge #2221. He came to Moosehaven on April 25, 2016 where he resided for 1 year and 4 months. Cap is survived by sons, Mark Primeau of Unionville, VA, Gregory Primeau of Rockaway, NJ, and David Primeau of Traverse City, MI. A Funeral Mass will be on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 10:00 am in the Moosehaven Chapel with Father Ignatius Plathanam as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Moosehaven Mausoleum following the service. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations in his memory be made to the Moosehaven Katherine Smith Memory Care Unit 1701 Park Avenue Orange Park, FL 32073.
