Cora Elizabeth (Haga) Sparrow

Cora (“Georgia”) Elizabeth Sparrow, loving wife, mother and aunt passed away peacefully on October 4, 2022, at Moosehaven Loyal Order of the Moose, Orange Park, FL. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Robert L. Sparrow.  Born to Lawrence and Georgia Haga in Chicago in 1935, Cora was the youngest of seven children.  She served proudly in the US Navy from 1954 to 1956, then moved to the West Palm Beach area.  Cora was a 40-year member of Women of the Moose, Lake Worth Lodge Chapter #46 and a former High Priestess of the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, Zem Zem Court #85, Lake Worth, FL.  Cora moved full time to Moosehaven in February 2017. 

She is survived by her son Robin L. Sparrow (Suzanne) of Arlington, VA and many nieces and nephews including her beloved nieces Georgia Haga Finch of West Palm Beach and Bonnie Haga Rhodes of Wappingers Falls, NY.
