CPO Stewart Covey

CPO Stewart Covey, 77, of Middleburg, FL, passed away December 2, 2017.  He was born on April 2, 1940 in Marathon Township, MI to parents Lyle and Arla Pearl (Stewart) Covey.  Mr. Covey had retired from the United States Navy and was a Vietnam War Veteran.  He moved to the local area in 2005 from Oscoda, MI and was of the Protestant faith.  He enjoyed golfing and fishing and will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Shelby Covey; son, Ronald Fasbender (Rita); daughters, Sherrie Henning (Donald) and Julia Sisk; brother, Jerry Covey and three grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm Monday, December 18, 2017 at Jacksonville National Cemetery with full military honors.
