Cristina E. Freeman

Cristina E. Freeman was born on July 8, 1974 and passed away on August 9, 2021. She was born to James and Nance Link in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She received her bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Louisville. Cristina was a proud employee of Humana for the last 13 years. Her, along with her husband, belonged to the First Baptist Church of Middleburg. Her hobbies included trips to Disney, spending time with family and collecting snowmen. Cristina was a courageous, loving, family-oriented woman.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Link; mother, Nance Link; sisters, Angela Link and Kimberly Wren.

Cristina is survived by her husband, Donnie Freeman; children, Christopher Link, Ashlynn Freeman and Cayden Freeman; brother, Ted Link (Patricia); aunts and uncles, Johnny Link, Nancy Carrol, Betty Hadley and Doug Klein; nephews and nieces, Erica Jolley (Brandon), Matthew Harrell, Kelsey Malley (Robert), Maryha Link, Chyenne Link and Savannah Wren; fur babies, Digger, Riley and Charles.

A joint Celebration of Life for both James Link and Cristina Freeman will be held 11 am, Saturday, November 6, 2021 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Pastor Kelly Everling.
