Dahyabhai D. Ahir, 74, of Orange Park, FL passed away peacefully on July 27th, 2021. He was born in India on June 1,1947 at the late Dhanabhai and Diwaliben’s home in the small town of Gujarat, India. He grew up in countryside because his dad was a farmer. He graduated from Assist Mechanical Engineering with an associate degree. Dahyabhai was married to Shantaben in 1970. He had 4 children including one daughter and 3 sons. He worked since he was 19 years old in India until he came to the USA in 2003. After he came to the USA he started working in a convenience store as a clerk until he retired in 2017 at the age of 70. Even though he was retired, he was always helping at the store when they needed him. He used to love to work no matter what kind work it is. He was very kind and helpful with the customers at his work. Dahyabhai was a very friendly and jolly human being. If someone met him only one time, they would be sure to never forget him. He was always ready to help others. He also had a loving and caring nature; when he was helping someone, he would never want anything back from them. He used to love to do yard work. He was always keeping his family’s yard clean and very colorful with all kinds of beautiful flowers. Whenever he had free time, he would watch the news. He loved to watch sports—specifically cricket. He was always staying in touch with all his family members back at home. Dahyabhai was survived by his wife; daughter; son-in-law; grandson Parth; 3 sons; 3 daughters-in-law; his mother; brother; sisters; nieces; nephews; cousins; and 8 grandchildren. Dahyabhai was very great human being as we all knew him. He will be greatly missed by everyone.
