Dan Manget Bramblett

Dan passed away June 18, 2019 after 89 years of faithful, loving service to Jesus Christ, to his church, to his wife and family.

He was born in Griffin, Georgia on July 31,1929 to wonderful Christian parents Olive Dent and Percy Logan Bramblett. Dan enjoyed a happy childhood with sisters Carolyn and Catherine, and began dating Jacqueline at the age of 16.

He graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, and earned his Master’s degree from the University of Tennessee.

Dan and Jackie were married on June 8,1952 in Griffin, GA. and have two daughters Jaye and Carol.

He joined the military in 1954 proudly serving with the United States Army.
Dan was a faithful member and deacon of First Baptist Church, Kingsport TN.

Dan became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on June 12, 1965 when he joined Kingsport, Tennessee Lodge #972.
He came to Moosehaven on March 3, 2004 where he resided for 15 years.

Dan adored his wife. He was a wonderful father, a fun grandfather to three granddaughters, and two great grandchildren.

We will always remember his huge, joyful personality, his jokes, his gadgets and most of all, his love.

We miss him already.
