Daniel Edward Smith

Daniel Edward Smith, 73 of Middleburg Fl passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 54 years - Judy, 2 sisters Judi and Linda, a daughter Angelee, a son Greg, and 4 grandchildren: Brianna, Kylee, Maia, and Chance. Also, many close nieces, nephews, and family friends. Dan was also known as “Papa” by many besides his own grandchildren. Dan loved spending time with his grandchildren, and his many animals, watching football, old westerns, and game shows. Dan retired in Middleburg after a long-distinguished service in the United States Navy and Civil Service. Memorial services are postponed due to COVID in the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The family of Dan wishes to thank everyone for their continued thoughts and prayers.
