David Thomas Buckner

David Thomas Buckner, 74, of Orange Park, FL, passed away February 25, 2018.  He was born on April 25, 1943 in Knoxville, TN to the late Claud and Ann May (Kimbroug) Buckner.  

David came to the Orange Park area from Jacksonville in 2004 and was of the Baptist faith.  He enjoyed gardening and collecting things.  David was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother.  He was known for telling his wife and children “I love you to eternity and beyond”.  He is preceded in death by his son, Christopher R. Buckner and sister, Nancy Russell.

David is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Magnolia Buckner; son, Ronald Buckner; daughters, Joanne Buckner, Cherry Buckner, Elizabeth Buckner and Christina Gray; sisters, Gail Russell and Claudette Hoagland; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held 10:30 am, Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Trinity Temple Assembly of God, 9970 Hogan Road, Jacksonville, FL 32246.
