David Louis Ivey

David Louis Ivey, 86, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away September 30, 2020. He was born January 24, 1934 in Doctors Inlet, FL to the late Allie Ivey and Grace Hall. David graduated from Clay High School in 1952, and served in the Army from 1957-1962. He later worked at Bank of Green Cove Springs, Atlantic Bank and First Union.   David was an avid gun collector and coin collector. He loved his dogs, Wolf and Lady. He will be remembered for being kind, loving and being a friend to all. He cherished his family and friends.

He is survived by his nieces, Cindy Brown (Robert) and Carmen Chappell (David); great nieces, Courtney Brown, Tayler Brown, Channing Chappell and Regan Chappell; great nephews, Logan Curole and Zachary Chappell.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am – 11:00am, Tuesday, October 6, 2020 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. Funeral service to follow at 11:00am with Rev. Charlie Hunt officiating. Interment will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
